| Type H Positive Choke
The simplest configuration of chokes. The flow and pressure must be shut in and vented for the fixed orifice flow bean to be changed. An industry standard flow bean is utilized in this design. Torque Nut version shown.

Type H Needle and Seat The needle and seat design provide one of the simplest designs of adjustable chokes. This design is suitable for low to medium pressure drops, less severe service and applications that do not require positive shutoff. Bolted Bonnet version shown. |
Type H chokes are also used in services including drilling manifolds where the choke may be required to pass large solids particles.
